Matthew Stanton BSc (Hons)

Matthew joined Kings shortly after achieving a first-class degree with Honours in Mathematics from Swansea University (2023). He is someone who loves to learn and expand his accounting knowledge in any way he can.

You will usually find Matthew working on Self-Assessment and VAT Returns for a range of clients.

He is currently studying the AAT accounting qualification with hopes to complete this and then move on to study for his chartered qualification.

Outside of the accounting world, Matthew enjoys meeting up with friends, playing football and running.

Josef Kraus BA (Hons)

Josef started his accounting journey in August 2023, following his university degree in Sports Business and Sports Law. He is currently in the process of studying for the AAT accounting qualification and loves to expand his skills and knowledge in the world of accountancy.

Josef’s primary responsibilities often include VAT and Self-Assessment Returns.

In his spare time, Josef enjoys regularly playing and watching football. Whilst also enjoying going to food festivals on most weekends.

Alex Bell

Alex joined the King’s team in mid-2022 after taking a year off after completing his A-levels; he is thoroughly enjoying the accountancy journey so far, and is looking forwards to the challenge as he progresses towards becoming a chartered accountant.

Outside the office, Alex Enjoys playing rugby for a local team, going away skiing with his family and in the summer months going hiking with his friends across different parts of the UK, having recently climbed Snowdon in Wales.

Hasnain Lakha BA (Hons)

Hasnain is a trainee accountant, having joined the firm in October 2023, and is currently working towards obtaining the ACCA qualification. He has graduated with a First-Class degree in Business Economics from the University of Hertfordshire. Hasnain’s main focus is on preparing statutory accounts and tax returns for Limited Companies, Partnerships and Sole Traders.

In his spare time, Hasnain is extremely enthusiastic about football and organises weekly football games for the community at large.

Alex Liddle

Alex commenced his career in accountancy following an interest in finance after completing his A-Levels. Alex has recently commenced studying towards the AAT qualification and he intends to complete this prior to studying for his chartered qualification. Alex has been undertaking practical training in the workplace with respect to all aspects of taxation, accountancy and regulated work.

Outside of the office Alex has a keen interest in motoring, owning both a car and a motorbike. He also enjoys casual gaming.

Ben Richardson MAAT

Ben is an enthusiastic hardworking individual who is studying accountancy. He has recently acquired his AAT qualification and has now started his ACA qualification which he is thoroughly looking forward to tackling in the coming years. He welcomes this new challenge with open arms. He has previously achieved a level 2 qualification in business and administration. Ben is enjoying learning about the accounting world and gaining skills while experiencing his own personal growth.

Ben also has interests in football and boxing, even taking part in a charity boxing event to raise money for cancer research.

Ben Dormody, BA (Hons), MAAT

Ben is a junior accountant with a first-class degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Hertfordshire (2019) and joined the accountancy industry shortly after.

Day-to-day his main focus is on self-assessment and VAT.

Ben is currently studying the AAT qualification and going forwards he aims to complete this before studying for his chartered qualification.

Away from work he enjoys watching football in particular his team Tottenham Hotspur and during lockdown Ben became a keen runner.

Mansi Mandalia

Mansi is currently studying towards her AAT Level 4 qualification, building on her experience in payroll, bookkeeping, VAT, and CIS returns. She is now expanding her expertise by training in accounts preparation and tax returns, aiming to further enhance her skills in these key areas.

Outside of work, Mansi enjoys reading, traveling, and baking, finding joy in both exploring new places and experimenting with different recipes.

Derek Britten ACCA

Derek began his accountancy journey in 2015 after showing a keen interest in business. He immediately started his AAT qualification and has recently completed his ACCA. Derek is passionate about building relationships with clients and working alongside everyone to provide the best possible service. Within the firm he completes statutory accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and CIS.

Outside of the office, Derek likes attending food festivals across the country and occasionally going abroad so he can learn about new cultures. He also enjoys going to the gym and participating in Muay Thai to give himself an outlet after a busy day. Prior to this he was a qualified 3rd degree blackbelt and a 3-time world champion in Taekwondo.
